All I can say is WOW! :eek:
I bought two of these for my tank, and had originally tried running them on the back wall, but was not pleased with the way it dug up the sand in the front of the tank. I then moved them to the sides, and, running in Lagoon mode, was very impressed. I had to send one of them back yesterday (not putting out as much flow as it should) and found myself playing with the remaining powerhead. I'm able to generate a 1" standing wave (using short pulse mode) across my entire tank (48") with a visible outward flow across the top and a visible undertow across the bottom of the tank. There are no dead spots anywhere in the tank. My sand bed is completely clear of detritus and my corals seem to be responding very positively. What really sells this for me is one of my Cardinals was floating "stationary" and the gentle side to side rocking motion was what I would expect to see in the ocean. VERY realistic.
I am totally sold on these and will never buy another powerhead for my display tanks.
I rate this product :up::up::up::up::up:
