You would know, Tony, you would know... ;)

He sure is, Brad, although he lost one of his anemones - I'm not sure how, but he doesn't seem to mind much.

Chris,

Do you think you can create a profile section? Taking the information here and creating an individual profile link for the different species?

something like this? (http://www.aquahobby.com/e_marine.php)

Sure. Once we get 30-40 of these, we can set something up...

That's a cool idea, Matt! We could do this with other genres (i.e. fish, macro algae, and the like) as well--not only inverts. I've been holding off posting coral species, but I could include them in this thread too if you want.

EDIT: Haha, if only I had the time! (I probably *should* be studying Calculus right now... eew.)

Just start more threads ("Fish ID/Care", for example). I'll sticky them as needed for now.

I'd ask Chris. He could sticky a Coral ID thread, a Fish ID thread, etc. just like this one! That way, it would be a little more organized when he finalizes the whole thing! :)

edit: argh, chris w/ the ninja fingers!

i was thinking about asking about this the other day... it would be an excellent resource for people to look up quick references...

Mine's a big sissy. She has a molly and an astraea snail living with her, and the most she does is occasionally shoo them out of her burrow.

The Maroon Clowns, on the previous page, I bought from Kzoo when he was selling off his tank. This is my Jeweled Damsel. Every once in a while he allows me to put my hand in the tank and not pull all the hairs off of it. lol

Common Name(s): Scarlet Hermit Crab
Scientific Name: Paguristes cadenati
Reef Safe: Yes
Diet: Algae, Flake, Algae Sheets
Level of Care: Easy
Interesting fact: The Scarlet Hermit is a very popular crab because of its brilliant red color, yellow eyes, peaceful disposition, and algae diet. Most of their day is spent scurrying around the aquarium doing a tremendous job keeping aquariums clean of detritus and algae. Scarlet Hermits prefer to be kept in groups. They are voracious algae eaters.

Jeff- check out the ARC articles section on invert care. We're starting a library there, and it'd be great to have your input!
