I have one customer who has to work tomorrow, she has made a list for her daughter to be here at 10 SHARP...

Brian just returned from training at Seachem, and Seachem not only sent the RO unit for the salt raffle (it beat most of the salt here!) but they also provided a generous supply of samples to be given to sale shoppers to complement their purchases.

They also provided a full set of Aquavitro products which we will raffle as well (not combined with the RO raffle).

We worked late tonight and we'll be there early tomorrow to finish preparations - we're pumped up!

He was there first. I had two already on hold for 2 others, but he called dibs before the others did. One had picked hers out already, the other was by phone so I held "one" but Loren had his pick of all but the one that Connie had chosen.

All "holds" were picked up today. I have one fish (yellow wrasse) holding for someone who was supposed to pick up this week but they had a death in the family so under those circumstances I agreed to keep it for them - otherwise it's ALL up for grabs tomorrow.

I'm heading for bed... 13 hours today was enough - and I need to be up and attum early again tomorrow.

Exhausting - but kinda fun :)

He actually asked me with a straight face, to count the polyps. I forget what my response was exactly - but it was probably something to the effect of "Go pee up a rope!" :)

He's good at the straight-man jokes - yesterday he asked me it if would be 'bad form' to come on the boards and announce that the sale was canceled! Ummm yeah... ;) He wanted all the bargooooons to himself.

Just wanted to chime in and say "Great shop, great store, and great service"! We stopped by on the way to pick up an acan from another member and were thoroughly impressed. Got a few snails and one small lobo, but there was soooo much we would have liked to bring home with us. Gaw! Gotta get one of the new tanks up and running!

Lots of fish went out the door - but we still have some nice stuff - Peppermint Hogs, lots of locally raised Ocellaris clowns, some tangs, and wrasses!

Didn't sell too many corals yet today - still *tons* of sweet stuff - lots of folks "gambling" on the discount :) Tomorrow will be another story!

Not really but there's WYSIWYG on my website. I'll have to update tonight with what's left - we still have LOTS of corals - many people wait for the discount to increase tomorrow and Sunday :) That's the gambling part. Sold lots of fish and stuff today as the discount is the same each of the 3 days so getting in early for best pick of fish is important.

I still have some nice stuff, fish-wise - and we're still loaded with corals :)

It's past closing time now but Brian is with a customer and somebody called on their way up 575 so we may be here a bit longer - but we're winding down for the day.

Here's my three new bad boys I just picked up from Jenn. We're calling them the "Three Stooges"! I dropped them in after a 30 minute float and a nice drip, then one of them went away. Looked for that sucker for 30 minutes and still never found him, then POOF! He was there...

Anyway, it was like Christmas in April up there today. I played hookie from work and ended up with three fish, a bunch of supplements (along with a VERY good lesson on the difference in some supplements) and probably enough food for darn near a year! Got a few freebie samples as well. The SeaChem "Fish Eggs" are like fish crack, I swear. I've never seen fish literally ATTACK anything like this stuff! Not good enough for a daily diet, I don't think...but an awesome treat and something cool to show off the tank with. If you don't get in on at least one of the great deals up there, you're gonna kick yourself!!

I just now noticed my watchman is in this photo as well! Little guy (actually he's probably 5 inches now) has gone AWOL since I added the PBT in there a month ago. Take away the crappy green algae on my back glass and I have a nice sample of my gobies!

No, it's 10W30 coffee this morning - I've had 1 1/2 cups so far, and sometimes Scott brings in a jug of his swill. Need to keep my wits about me for another day or two :)

It's a lot of work, but it's also a lot of fun. We had a bunch of first-time customers yesterday too - which was very nice.

Response thusfar has exceeded our projections, and we're only one day in! We'll see what today brings! Looking forward to a "good tired" tonight too!

Is there ANYTHING left is the question! At the rate they were going, they were due to be close to sold out at some point. Jenn, can you update us with something?

I'm still at the shop Last customer left a moment ago - they actually left a while ago but called as we were doing our closing work to ask if they could return to get a wrasse! (DUH OF COURSE!) They came a long way to get here.

Today was much like yesterday - folks turned up in waves. A few early "campers" and we managed to get a lull about 2:30 to eat cold Chinese food :) Then the next wave and the next came!

Lots of good stuff moved today - but we still have quite a bit left. About 80 or so coral colonies, a good mix of SPS, softies and LPS - so there's still something for everyone.

Quite a few fish found new homes today but I still have some nice stuff to choose from - again - something for everyone.... I still have some yellow watchman gobies, a purple firefish, a bar goby, a purple tang, a rusty angel, Tomini tang... and a HUGE Mineatus grouper. I still have a couple of nice fairy wrasses including the yellow flanked fairy - I can't believe he's still here. Got a nice blue jaw trigger too - he's a bit shy so he isn't always "seen" but he's here. All fish have been here a minimum of 8 days - well rested, well fed, and well acclimated. Fish are always priced with their arrival date so you can tell how long they've been here.

Barry - I still have 2 of the first round of salt buckets "available" - I have 3 more set aside for people who were in immediate need but haven't picked them up yet. Hopefully the others who had those designated will get them tomorrow too.

So how many of you gamblers shall I expect tomorrow? :) There's still plenty of good stuff left - but methinks there may be a run at 1:00... trying to guess how many will be here before the doors open at 1:00? We should have 5 bodies here to serve you so hopefully we'll get you all served promptly and with the care and attention you deserve! We will have numbers to give at the door if there's a queue, so it's fair for everyone - we're all friends, right? :D

Corals - I still have a nice bushy Acro - farmed but not a frag - a nice colony, some Favias, Pocillipora, a small Acan (pink-ish), nice cupping orange-ish monti, a Chalice frag from my mother colony, pimpled shrooms, one ricordea, a yellow Stylophora again - farmed, not a frag, bright green Hydnophora, a couple of Scolymia, Pectinia, Turbinaria - a yellow scroll and a nice Paletta, unique shape, sort of blue-ish.

That's just what I glanced at quickly - before the lights go out at 8:00...

We've still got some freebie samples of some Seachem products also, with purchase, and tomorrow at 5, or after the last customer is served, we'll hold the drawings for the RO unit and the Aquavitro package (don't have to be present to win, but it's always nice if the winner is there to jump up and down with glee!)

As far as the last customer who came back for the wrasse...that was me!!!! JennM has a great store and everyone was very friendly..My first time at this store and I loved it will be heading back soon...Ended up buying 2 wrasses and 3 corals, nice piece of shelf rock and lots of frozen food.. There is still lots of nice corals and fish left.. Thanks JennM for a great store and friendly staff... my wife says to feed the blue cloves good and fast make them grow quick!!!!

Thanks, Brian! I'm glad you enjoyed your first visit, and I appreciate that you made the long journey! We stayed late to clean up, regroup and prepare for today. We do have a lot of sweet stuff left - I rattled off a few last night... we still have more than those few that I mentioned. Still a good assortment of all different types of corals, and some really nice fish.

We're low on frozen food, but my restock order is already in (Thanks to Alan Heath of Ocean Nutrition for taking care of us!) I may try to extend that BOGO special for those who missed out - early shoppers loaded up more than I anticipated!

We also still have lots of staple items - remaining Koralias (25% off!) supplements, carbon, filter media, test kits, salt (we're sold out of some, but have IO buckets, Oceanic, Kent bags, RC bags and maybe a bucket)... all on sale 25% off. We're out of some of the Aquavitro products, but are issuing rainchecks for that at buy 2, get one FREE, and should be stocked up again on Thursday. If you don't find what you need, ASK - we'll be happy to accommodate!

The raffles for Aquavitro prize package and the Seachem Pinnacle RO unit (for those who took advantage of the Seachem Reef Salt group buy) will happen when the last customer has been taken care of this afternoon (evening?)
