Reefers, I got a postcard in the mail from Imagine Ocean today. They are having their 7th anniversary celebration starting Friday April 17.

On Friday April 17 all corals are 25% off.
On Saturday April 18 all corals are 40% off.
On Sunday April 19 all corals are 65% off.

April 17, 18 and 19 all in stock fish and invertebrates are 25% off. The postcard also mentions many more in store specials.

I'm thinking camp out Saturday night anybody interested? :D

Yep, next weekend! I was going to post it here but my Internet connection has been weird all morning...

Today (April 12) is the actual "birthday" of the shop. Hard to believe it's been 7 years!

We're excited about this sale. We haven't had a sale in a while. We've done this type of format twice in the past, but the last one was almost 4 years ago.

There's a bit of "gambling" involved.... customers come earlier in the week to scope out what they'd like... but the gamble is, "Do I buy it Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?"... or the better question is, "Will it still be here if I wait?" That's the question... while Sunday is the better discount, the more conservative risk-takers will buy it sooner. Some have already told me they'll be here all 3 days :)

The first time we did one of these sales, there were 20 people lined up at the door before opening time on Sunday :) We were a bit overwhelmed. We are more prepared this time around. It's a fun format.

We're fully loaded with fish, corals and inverts. We received 55 new corals yesterday. I'll be updating the website with a few pictures, IF my internet connection cooperates (It has conked out 4 times while I wrote this message). Lots of eye candy!
