Between now and April14, I'm offering up Seachem Reef Salt for $37.99 per 160-g Bucket. With tax, it comes to $40.27.

Orders must be pre-paid and payment received by Tuesday, April 14. You can come in and pay in person by cash, check, credit/debit card. You can also mail a check to the store - PM me for the address and I'll know when to expect the check (must arrive by April 14), or you can PayPal. If you choose to PayPal, your total will be $41.77 ($1.50 service charge for using PayPal). PM me for details on where to send PayPal payment, and I'll send you a PayPal invoice.

If I sell 36 buckets (one pallet), Seachem will kick in a free RO unit, which will be raffled amongst those who participated in the buy. I am advertising this elsewhere also, so hopefully we'll be able to meet that goal. If we don't sell 36 buckets, the price is still good, so you have nothing to lose. If we come up short on the number of buckets, no RO raffle.

This is open to everyone - no restrictions on membership etc. There is no further discount (ie no ARC discount) to this price - the price I've posted is the price you pay, period. This purchase qualifies for our Reef Rewards (details on that available on our website).

The order will be finalized on April 14, and the salt should be in my store on Thursday, April 16 and can be picked up at that time.

Yes, that's right. One bucket = 1 ticket, 6 buckets = 6 tickets.

Since you're an I.M.O.L., you will buy another storage tank, install it in the bed of the truck and deliver RO/DI water to fellow ARC members.

You could secretly run a line from the neighbors' to feed into the RO -- maybe that friendly neighbor across the street?

OK, folks. No good deed goes unpunished.

I had given my distributor a heads up on my group buy last week. Their order from Seachem didn't arrive yet (due to them on Thursday or Friday)... my delivery from them is tomorrow.

I'm "cleaning them out" of whatever buckets they had on hand (which was 11 when I got the word this morning but I'll have a total later of how many they are sending me).

SO... the balance of the 48 buckets won't arrive until NEXT Thursday, the 23rd. Puts a major crimp in my plans - hopefully this doesn't inconvenience too many of you.

I will post a note as soon as I know how many they are sending me for tomorrow - and we'll figure it out from there.

If someone is in immediate need of salt, and/or making a long trip and plans are made and can't be easily changed, I'd like to give priority to those individuals, and go from there.

Please rest assured that your orders *WILL* be filled. I even tried to get Seachem to drop ship a pallet to me, but they wouldn't be able to get it to me any faster than my usual distributor, so this was the best and quickest way to take care of business.

If you have questions or concerns, don't hesitate to let me know. I apologize for any inconvenience - unfortunately this one is circumstances beyond my control.

Again - I'll post as soon as I know how many of the buckets are indeed arriving tomorrow.

I have one walk-in customer that needs one of the 2 he ordered, and another customer intends to come in today from a great distance, and he ordered one or two.

That should be fine, Gwen. Most people are being very accommodating. The only variable is what time it's delivered. It's usually here by 3:00-ish... I'll post when it gets here. They used to deliver much earlier but they have been later the last few weeks - driver mentioned his route had been changed.

My next day off is the next Wednesday (4/29). I assume it isn't a problem to get then? I'm gonna have to buy some salt today (not your fault, as it turns out I can't get up there today even if you had all the salt). I've been putting off a w/c and it can't wait two more weeks.

Barry I should be able to accommodate you too.

John needs one, Gwen needs one, you need one - and somebody else needed one or two... so that's 4 or so - out of the 11. We should be OK.

If you have some left Tuesday (which I doubt) I'll drive up. Otherwise, since you're closed Mondays, the next day off after the delivery of the rest of the salt will be a two weeks from yesterday... other than Sunday, but I'm helping LilRobb move a tank.
