This is for all the sellers and traders out there...

Right now, the way I have my new site coded, you can add a particular type of coral to your "have list" (e.g. I own this, I own that).

My question is for the "for sales" section. Do you guys think it's better to have the ability to list out each coral frag you have for sale vs. just saying I have this particular type of coral for sale, contact me if you're interested?

There are pro's and con's to both but I wanted to make sure the process was easy and that people will actually use the system. If there are too many fields, people probably won't fill it out.

Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

I think that to say that you have this frag from this colony and to show either the mother colony or better still a representative frag as a sample would be sufficient IMHO provided that you showed a picture of the coral.

Some zoas and SPSs sell much better if you can actually see what it looks like.

I agree pictures help... and it shouldn't be hard to upload.

I guess my question is, as a seller, if you were selling on a site like frags.org or this forum, how detailed would you be willing to go before you'd bail the process? Knowing the sellers on the forums, everyone will probably list their frags on multiple sites and not just one. Unless the site happens to be the premier source for frags, I'm just not sure people will take the time to fill out everything.
