"HAOOS T5 Fluorescent 48"/2 lamp Aquarium Light"

Anyone heard of or have experience with these? I'm a little curious as i'm looking to get a new T5 fixture in the next month or so and i've never heard of these guys before. they are going fo $66 on Ebay.

Don't know about those, but Saltwater City sells a Coralife 48" two bulb T5 for $ 68.95.

Aaaah..... the part of the phone call that apparently wasn't clear.
I thought he said they were HO but "not a full fifty-xx watts".

The coralife t5s are junk. They simply are not sealed enough for any saltwater application unless you have zero water turbulence. I wouldn't even waste my time researching them.

I agree. I have used these over FW and Terrariums but their uses for SW are quite limited unless you completely seal the fixture. They also had issues with the ballasts in these going out as well as the end caps rusting.
