I'm thinking (well, I've pretty much decided to) I'm going to cut up my oversized dark red RBTA. This originally came from Linda, and I've not seen one like it. I think I'm going to cut it in half and quarter one of the halves and keep one small quarter, selling the larger half and one quarter. Obvioulsy they will need a few weeks to heal, but wanted to see if anyone would be interested. I paid $135 for it and it was quite a bit smaller, and was thinking $100 for the larger half, $70 for the smaller. Here's an old pic, it's much bigger now...

I still have the parent 'nem and this is an amazing creature. Glad to see that more ARC members will have a chance to enjoy them. Mine looks like it may split again soon.

$100/$70 is a heckuva deal -- Cap Bay priced these @ $150.

Matt, based on my experience in "ripping" one with my bare hands (by accident), two weeks will be plenty of time for you to determine if the divisions are healed. The mouth may not have returned to the exact center within 2 weeks, but they will have reformed a mouth and it will be well moved towards the center by that time.
