My sump failed (long story) and I need a quick fix. If someone has a sump around 12-15" wide, 16" tall (maybe taller, but not much) and length under 48" (unless it has a built in fuge). It needs to have a bubble trap and the baffle height should be around 9". Glass or acrylic, but it shouldn't need any additional work. I can build another, but would rather just buy one and move on. Looking for something complete.
Also if you can build an acrylic fast, I am listening with wallet open.
Let me know, Cameron.
There is a LFS in McDonough (south of ATL on 75) called Blue Planet that will do custom acrylic work and there prices are reasonable. 770-914-FISH

I have a 40 breeder sump i'll sell,if it will fit in your setup. It has baffles in it allready. I took it off my 120 when i moved. $50 Dimensions are 36" length x 18" width x 16" height

I saw that from your other post and really wanted it, but it won't fit width wise. My stand is a real pain and had I knew better when I bought it... I would have bought something else. It is pretty though... just wish it was more functional. I broke down and bought a 20 gallon long and some baffles that are curing in my garage now. I am still looking for something in the 15" width and larger gallon wise though.

What would be the chance we could try and fit it below my display? I don't think it will fit, but the way I have to measure is quite inaccurate. I think I have about 15.25 inches to play with. I know it would fit if I changed the hardware on the cabinet doors which is an option as well. They are the quick release kind which is nice, but they stick into the display almost 2 inches. I would be willing to lose them for the right sump though.

Well the sump is definately 16" deep front to back so.....really all depends on how much trouble you want to deal with.what size tank is this going on? Also the water level is kind of low the way it is setup now with the float valve but i believe it could be modified. Ill take some pics of it tomorrow after my camera charges up,that way you can see it and see if its worth the hassle.

Right now I have a 20 gallon sump on a 125 gallon tank. The 29 gallon sump I built worked fine, but was too tall for my cabinet. It fit under it, but I was having real difficulty moving stuff around. A 40 gallon (or so) sump at that height is nearly perfect. I figure about 8-9 inches of water is good and I could go a bit lower.
