OK I got up this morning to see my two shrimp in my overflow,I thought this was strange so I looked closer to discover that the female had a big clutch of eggs on her belly!!!
I don't know anything about trying to raise the fry so does anybody else have any addvise?
I netted them and put them in a 5.5 gal tank with no fish and the light's off,to see what happens.

Thats quite common, but, unfortunately, rasing the fry is not an easy task. Search the forums here, there has been a couple threads on breeding Lysmata shrimp.

I have seen them as well as cleaners carrying eggs very often, but I have never heard of anyone breeding tehm (imagine how lucrative that would be) but good luck! I would like some more peppermints for my fuge.
