The theater listings have started to post! Check fandango for the closest one to you. I heard rumor it may be in as many as 24 theaters in and around ATL.

Oh yeah, fandango usually is one if the first ones to update with theater listings. Plus I think we were dealing with them to let them know.

sweet, i sorry but i dont know your name so haha what is it so I can look for in the credits

glxtrix
12-10-2008, 11:22 PM
Look for Lee Kordel under the "Lighters" in the short before the movie and under "Master Lighters" after the actual movie. I may add the credits are kinda cool, it shows some of the original art work designs and concepts.

The movie is also going to have some amazing sound....a little person by the name of Geoff Zanelli did it......you may know some of his works like, oh Pirates of the Caribbean, The Last Samurai, Pearl Harbor and many more.

I am boycotting this movie till I get a date with Jennifer Love Hewitt... Make it happen Lee!!!

MASTER Lighter... Is that what you kids are calling it now a days?!?

glxtrix

Technically it should read "Lighting TD", however the director thought little names like that would be different.

Congrats Lee! Since my theatre is a sub-run location it will be a couple of months before I can see your name on the "big screen". I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for it when it arrives though.

I'm not sure if any of my company's locations are playing it in ATL or not, I'll have to check.....

Its playing all over the place. Hopefully you'll be able to catch it, I don't know how long it'll last in the theater seeing how it's a low budget movie.

Ya they spent all their money paying the big names like Freddie Prince Jr, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Lee Kordel!!!

glxtrix
12-11-2008, 10:54 AM
Ha, if by paying me you mean having me work redicilously long hours for 4 years and low pay, sure. LOL. It was an amazing experiance though. Sad so e people are talking garbage about it. Were being compared to the big companies with 100 million dollar budgets and several 100 people on the jobs. ...reality on our end, VERY low budget and maybe 30 dedicated people put this, a full length feature animation that was completely independant from large studios and funding, on the big screen! That's HUGE if you ask me. Yeah it may not get pixar size numbers from the box office and may look like a flop due to low numbers, but that may be very large for us....considering how low budget this thing was. More over I hope it makes decent money, please go see it guys, or you may be saying good bye to the only amimation company in GA :(

low budget or not, still looks like a good story line. and if it was done out of georgia, then heck it def is worth seeing.

i'd love to get a chance to work on something like this, i think it would be awesome fun.

i think ya'll did a good job.

Delgo has officially been see by people already on the big screen! Some theaters ran a midnight showing, and close to 1000 are about to play it for the first time :) I'll be going tonight to the regal 24 off of 85.....maybe I'll see some of you guys out there!

I got my tickets here in the 305. Can't wait man.

For the entire time that I've known Lee all he has done is this movie and keep fish tanks. And he worked harder on the movie than on the fish tanks so you can imagine. Congrats again dude. :yay:

On a side note, I'm still mad at you guys that you included a short and didn't see it necessary to include my mini animation that I did at your office after the credits with a note that said: "Thanks for all the support (ie - 24 nights, etc)"
