I have a 30 gallon tank with two gold stripe maroon clowns. I want to get more fish, but I don't know what will work with them.

Does anybody have any recommendations?:new:

flasher or some of the smaller fairy wrasse. Problem is, established maroons can be a pain...

Thanks. I have had them for a week, and I have heard that they are very territorial. Those wrasses are cool looking, too. :D

How big are the clowns? If they are a pair the female will get to be six inches or more and will be very aggressive towards other fish. In that case I wouldn't recommend anymore fish. If they are small i would add as suggested a small wrasse like a flasher or a six line. Rearrange the tank before you add the new fish that way all the fish will to reassert their territories. Also I would recommend over filtering water.

One is about 2 inches long and the small one is almost 1 inch.

Could a blenny hold its own with the clowns?

Most likely the clowns are paired. You could get a blenny or a goby but they are going to be hidden most of the time. Make sure that you have plenty of Live Rock for it to hide. As the clowns get ready to lay eggs the female(the larger one) will get very aggressive.
