I purchased this in July of this year, from Dave (aka Acroholoc). He built the system and never used it. I have used it since July of this year. I am selling due to the fact that I just bought a 40G breeder and want to upgrade to a larger frag tank. This set-up is literally plug and play. Just add your own sump and return pump and you're ready to go. This would make a great frag tank, but would also make a wonderful nano reef.
Drilled with center overflow reef ready 20 Long (30" x 12" x 12"). The tank has a 1" schedule 80 bulkhead for the overflow, and two 1/2" return bulkheads, each with dual Loc-Line returns and flow control valves (shown in pics). The tank has an AGA knock down stand.
Lighting is 2 x 70 watt fan cooled adjustable HQI fixture (30" long, hand made wood canopy style fixture) to go over it. Super even dispersion, electronic HQI ballasts and Ushio 20K DE bulbs. Each bulb services 1/2 the tank, or an area 15" long x 12" wide x 12" deep. Bulbs have been in use since July; run about 9 hours a day on a timer.
The light fixture is set up to hang from twin tracks attached to the stand.
Tank has been set up and running since July and works perfectly. It's very quiet too.
All equipment was brand new when I purchased in July, except the tank, which was used but in excellent shape.
Entire package is $265. Pictures below, and are from Dave's post when he sold this to me.. PM any questions. thanks.
