Yeah guys.. im not goldenmac.. why would i comment on my OWN threads?? that is the stupidest thing.. i have no clue why the same ip adress would show up.. but im not golden and that is final.. he is a disrespectful, ignorant person and im not.. i just want to be apart of this site like.. the only explaination i have about the same corals is the simple fact that he is my friend, and we both ordered the same corals from a guy out in orange county california.. he decided to sell, and ive always been selling..

HMMM. He is your friend yet you call him ignorrant and disrespectful? An IP address is assigned by your service provider and is individual to each household. So unless he is sneaking into your house at night then that is a weak excuse. If you want to be part of the club then that is fine but I say pick a screen name and one screen name only and use it. Also follow the rules and be respectful. The only way you can trust people is by believing what they say and it is fine to have multiple accounts from the same IP as long as it is disclosed and different people use them. IE me and the jetskiqueen. She is my wife and everybody knows that.

Same IP, freinds that live in different parts of town, both highschool age, both joined in same time period and both of them Call green button polyps polyzoos. Connect the dots. Do a search on polyzoos and only three threads will pop up and I bet you can guess which ones. A little to much alike if you ask me.

Maybe so, but when two people register with the exact same name and phone number, it does look a wee bit suspicious. I've confirmed the duplicate IP addresses. Duplicate accounts is also against the forum rules (http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=890) you agreed to when you signed up (twice, in fact):

Impersonation of others, including the registration of more than one userID

This type of behavior is not tolerated here. You're about to receive a PM, and your accounts are being banned. If you'd like to reinstate one, then a PM to myself and the other mods explaining why you decided to try to deceive the club and why we should reinstate the account.

Sure- I'm trying to be fair. I'm not so much concerned about following the rules to the letter, but the spirit of the forums. He's trying to deceive the membership, and then blatantly lie about it to everyone. If he can provide a response that satisfies the BoD and the mods, then one of his accounts will be reinstated. If he continues to break the rules, his entire IP address range will be banned.

well will he have to explain it to the members?

I didn't require it, but if he wants any chance of gaining any respect back, he'll have to explain himself to the members.

Just another reason why I believe minors NEED adult supervision. Especially on the internet. And when money, and oral/written contracts are involved. Be very careful in dealing with those that are under age . There is little if no recourse.

Nah this has kind of been a issue where minors are just on the site and people either realize its a minor or their occupation is HS or MS. I dont want to be a jerk but I really dont like selling things to minors for a few reasons. Hopefully they can be some how limited from the FS forums or something? If they want to sell something then or buy something then they should have their parents do it.

I just gotta say somthing on this thread from a different point of view. Although I am buying stuff on this thread, my parents always know where I'm going (obviously because I'm not old enough to drive they have to drive me) And will remain to know were I am going and go with me even when I can drive. Also I think it is alright for kids to buy and sell stuff as long as there parents are involved. Every one that I've meet here have also meet either my mom or my dad because they are with me. My mom is also going to start being more involved in arc and she is going to get an online account. (my dad is an arc member but does not go online) She wants to see the site and get more comfertable with the people on it. She also wants to go see what is for sale because christmas is right around the corner...:D . Over all I do think it is ok for kids to go on this site and buy on this site. I think it is especially useful for kids to buy on this site because most kids do not have good paying jobs (I only have a pet sitting buisness and allouence since I'm not 15 yet) So this is the only affordable way to keep a reef tank when your working at Mcdonalds or don't have a job at all. DianeI dont have a problem with younger people selling and buying I just believe that there should be a way to hold them accountable. You are not the problem because in order for you to be a member one of your parents does also but 15-18 that is not the case. The liability is that untill someone is 18 its almost impossible to perfect a contract. I just agree with charlie that we should somehow make the parents accountable by giving written parental consent and them agreeing to be accountable for thier minors actions.

pretty sweet. usually people that get free times under 27 arent too great at breast because of the glide or at least thats what my coach told me. your breast time is pretty good most people my age get 1min 15s or 1min 17s and those are senior 2 swimmers.

honestly, i would go swimming anyday over the meeting, i swim for a hobby and no other reason, the only time i dont like swimming is when they make us do a fly over 50, today we had to do a 600, you can imagine my arms are dead since i cant swim it without sprinting and slamming my arms together, i have no indurance for fly, but breast i can do a 1000 with a pretty quick pase and not be tired, as i said its my stroke.

yeah i would but if i miss this week i cant swim on friday and i can make state so i really want to.. yeah today we did a 500 fly on "red" pace which is just below all out.. it SUCKED.. tom we are running a mile for time i think
and today we did a 500 for time.. KICK.. mine was 8:24.01

our warmup is a 1000 free and a 100 fly, to make it worse the fly is at the end and you have to do flips at all ends( i only like doing flips at the deepend.)
