View Full Version : Forum Suggestion (ladies only)
mysterybox 11-06-2008, 2:47 PM Hey, this might be another one of my stupid ideas.................but hey, it's worth a shot.
anyhoe, what about a lounge area where only woman can attend? I just noticed the post count on many females over the last week, pretty low (OK, that would be excluding a few). Some might be feeling too intimidated from all the testosterone around here?
Just a suggestion.
Ralph
DrNecropolis 11-06-2008, 2:50 PM Jeez what a stupid idea j/k lol..I can see where your coming from but we have some tough chickees here. I don't think they are intimadated
mysterybox 11-06-2008, 2:53 PM the ones that post aren't! it's the ones that don't post. Plus, they can chit chat without some clumsy guy reading over it.
mysterybox 11-06-2008, 2:53 PM anyway, what about some female responses?
(like your wife?)
Barbara 11-06-2008, 3:12 PM Ralph, I just had to laugh, but I'm assuming the "Anyhoe" (on a ladies only suggestion) was a slip of the keypad?:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:
But on a serious note, I don't think it's necessary, plus, I'm not into division of the sexes. Just my personal preference.

oops! thanks
DrNecropolis 11-06-2008, 3:14 PM My wife is more of a lurker then anything.. She reads to learn to prove me wrong whenever possible lol

I like her style!
DrNecropolis 11-06-2008, 3:23 PM I know you do... She is super excited about this new tank
chauwall 11-06-2008, 3:30 PM Sure. I think that would be a good idea. Why not? However, I am not intimidated by all of the boys here. And I don't know if a separate area would really get many visits. I would think if I wanted to talk about shopping or womanly topics, I'd go to another forum. So Ralph, are you a Raphina now?:)
mysterybox 11-06-2008, 3:46 PM you can call me anything u want! Most people do anyway! LOL
Nice Idea Ralph - But personally I don't think it is necessary.
Margi
mysterybox 11-06-2008, 7:38 PM that's cool!
Leslie 11-06-2008, 8:09 PM Ditto the above. I am on this site to learn and seek advice on marine fish and reefs. If I want girl talk, that's what martinis are for!
Barbara 11-06-2008, 8:47 PM Martinis!?!?!? Where?? Dang, I miss all the good stuff.
RaisingTwo2006 11-06-2008, 8:56 PM I think that personally if I need to ask a 'girl' question, I'd just pm one of the lovely ladies on the board.
Otherwise, Im ok with posting in front of the guys. Kind of makes me feel special. Plus I've always had more guy friends than girl friends so I feel right at home.

I agree!
mysterybox 11-06-2008, 9:13 PM oh well, just an idea.
Hey - wait a minute... If Martinis are involved - maybe we should have a ladies only lounge!!!
mysterybox 11-06-2008, 9:14 PM thanks for your feedback! Makes sense what ya said!
