I will be betting on the national championship game. I use various factors to make my choice. Curious as to what you all think...

Alright someone who knows a good football program when they see it!!! GO CANES!!!!! Well lets see, I'm from ohio, but I hate ohio state, and due to being a canes fan, cant stand the gators either, unfortunately michigan got robbed of another chance to play.......so i think I'll have to go with ohio on this one, i cant bear to go with the gators.

I agree with you glxtrix. If I had to choose I would lean toward OSU. I can't stand UF and their crying in front of the media head coach. I wish UF wasn't so afraid of playing Miami.

Ahaha they cried? yeah I really dont care at all. But I must say OSU because my parents are from there so.. yeah.

Actually I could have. One of my wife's coworker also got two tickets and at the last minute his wife decided she didn't want to go, so they had two tickets to give away. We didn't know anyone who was able to go last-minute so they went to waste. I'll keep you in mind next time, if there ever is a next time!

Dude you should have taken me. lol. Next time. haha

UMM maybe not. USC spanked them worse then the score states! Again I was hoping Michigan would blow them out and help make a better case for college playoffs but no! It seems every year things fall into place and stars align to where it works out with little contraversy once everything is over.

As to the championship game I could care less (my Aggies were stomped last Thurs). I just hope it's half as entertaining as last years championship! I think O state will win but 7.5 is awefully stout! I think I'd take the points.

yes this is very true....in all hopes that I had for yesterdays game to go in favor for mich and the gators to win in a very low scoring game, then mich would have gotten the national title. Although mich got creamed yesterday, one can only hope that the "NFL looking" ohio state destroys the gators!

I dont know about you guys, and gals, but if there was a playoff. The only team that we would be talking about would be LSU. I doubt there is a team that could beat them right now. Oh, and about the whole Michigan controversy, they had there shot to beat OSU. Watch LSU beat Notre Dame 28-10. Anyone see the Sooners get beat in overtime last night? WOW. And speaking of "playoff's" what about the Bosie State Bronco's 13-0. They need to be giving there chance of a playoff azz whooping by a REAL big dog team,(SEC). I remember BSU getting owned by my bulldogs in 05'.

"9/3/2005 - ATHENS, Georgia. -- Georgia quarterback D.J. Shockley threw five touchdown passes and ran for another score in the season opener for both No. 13 Georgia and No. 18 Boise State, leading the Bulldogs to a 48-13 victory over the Broncos."

SEC is very average this year actuallly (ACC (though it was not from the normal FSUs and Miamis) and Big 10 with 3 of the top 6 in the country were just as good). Your dogs are unranked (deservingly so after laying eggs to Kentucky and Vandy and 2 way to close games vs cellar dwellers Colorado and Miss State) though they had a very nice bowl win I don't think Boise would be very easy for this years dogs at all! Granted Boise is in a super weak conference but they did beat OK and can score some serious points. It always happens that someone from the Mouintain West or Conf USA or Sun Belt, etc. has a great season and then complains that they are not a top 5 team. It's even more fuel for the playoff arguement. Let them have their chance. They will get spanked then those complaints would quit after a couple years.

LSU is playing well. We'll see if they can play as they should tonight. They have been up there the last several years and managed to blow it somehow.

OSU looks real tough. I doubt Florida can pull it off but it should be pretty entertaining.

Yeah its funny how a freshmen 17 year old qb's can screw it up for one team, :mad2: Tereshinski:mad2: HAD to have a shot JUST because of his family generation with UGA. UGA, couldnt get a qb until this year when we got 2 (freshmen) because of him. So basically had to start over. And the SEC is always like that because they take themselves out of it by killing each other. I remember a Florida team almost getting spanked by the same dogs that lost to kentucky. Georgia is so funny like that, they killed auburn and lost to vandy?! They were up 30+ on the vols and layed down. COME ON! they always play to the other teams ability.

My point is simple, you make a playoff with every team in the nation all playing other conferences you will have more SEC teams than any other in the last, lets say 16 or so. And maybe even an all SEC championship game. And trust me Bosie State wouldnt stand a chance against UGA this year. Oklahoma just didnt figure them out until the forth quarter because they never played them. Georgia on the other hand would take it to them eairly and never look back, just like last year.:D

Bosie State????? GET REAL... lol!:D Although it was great because my girl is from Oklahoma, so I must say I REALLY enjoyed that game.

SEC is very average this year actuallly.

And if thats the case, why were there more SEC teams in the top 15 than any other conference?;)

Watch LSU beat Notre Dame 28-10. ."

OKAY OKAY...SO I was wrong. Its much better than I expected. lol LSU 41-Notre Dame 14 with 7 minutes to play in the forth... Lets just say Ohio State is lucky, they are playing the wrong SEC team.:lol2: BUT!!! I would def. take the points in the Championship game.
