Used ReefFlo Hammerhead.

quote: The ReefFlo Hammerhead is the most powerful pump in it's class. This energy efficient pump is ideal for 300 -500 gallon aquariums with sump return systems requiring a minimum of 15 feet of static head. The ReefFlo Hammerhead is rated for a maximum flow rate of 5800pgh, a shut off of 23', and a maximum wattage of 350/3 amps. The Sequence Hammerhead uses a 1/3 horsepowerBaldor TEFC motor made in the USA.

I'd like 190. I just took this off my tank because I was using it as a return pump, and at 5800 GPH, it was just a bit....too powerful.

I've since switched to a Panworld 100PX-X, and I think the Reeflo might have actually been quieter despite putting out 5 times the amount that the Panworld did.

I'm looking to increase the flow on my 175 gal sw tank with a 40-50 gal recently added sump. Is it possible to 'turn down' the flow rate on this model or is it simply full blast or nothing? I'd like to talk to you about this pump for my tank on the phone if possible .. please call this weekend at 678-662-6336.

Thanks,

All the Sequence pumps can be "turned down" at a reduced wattage rating.
