What I would like to do in my 58g is to make it a breeding tank. I would like to have fish that are paired up and eventually lay eggs, I might even try raising the babies. I just think it would be interesting to watch the spawning behavior and every thing.
Here is the list I have sofar. Please tell me if the fish are not likely to pair up or they will end up killing each other or somthing. I'm just looking for advice.

tank bred Fridnani Pseudochromis
tank bred Neon pseudochromis
the clownfish pair that is currently in my 30g will be moved to the 58g
pearly jawfish pair
bangii cardinal trio
green mandrian pair
I would like to find Sparky a companion as well.
And then I would like to have a large colorful fish like a flame wrasse or fairy wrasse in the tank as well

I understand that this is to many fish. I would just like to edit my list based on you guy's opinions.
Thanks, Diane

Ditch the mandarins. You can't have 2 in that size tank. I'd reconsider the pseudochromis pairs as well. Psuedos are mean and their behaviour could impact courtships of the other fish. Finally, jawfish are very territorial, and it would be really hard to pair them up. If you get lucky enough to find a pair, they'll be really expensive.

I like the clowns and the cardinals. They are good choices. You might try to find mostly mouth brooders, as the young would stand a better chance than eggs laying around..... Just my opinion.

You will have to choose one or the other. Dottybacks are very aggressive toward other dottybacks. Occasionally you will luck out and find two pairs that get along, but that is the exception rather than the rule. I would recommend the Orchids as they are less aggresive/easier to pair up.

Those will be fine

bangii cardinal trio

You will most likely end up with only 2 - but that is fine. Buying 3 increases your chances of a pair. But once you get a pair they will most likely kill off the 3rd.

green mandrian pair

Buy them one at a time, and keep them in quarantine by them self until it is aggressively eating frozen food. 50 gallons is more than enough space for 2 mandarins that eat frozen food. But even a 500 gallons is pushing it for fish that won't eat repaired food.

I don't think it is to many fish. Other than the adjustments I made above, the other other thing I would recommend you change would be to add a pair of potters angels (potters are my favorite, but get which ever ones you like most), and a pair on neon gobys....
