Why not do away with the Sponsor Forum and list only the web page of each sponsor?

The members could go into the sponsors web page and personally contact the sponsor there.

This would take pressure off the moderators having to oversee the sponsor forum.

Aww, but it is a great place for sponsors to announce shipments, sales, and answer general questions all in one place without having to call around. I.E. Saltwater City can announce a big acro shipment and I can be first to be there. If I was to call them periodically that would be more work for me, the customer. Boooooo!

The trick is that everyone just needs to keep the sponsor forum true to its purpose. No discussions, complaints, or arguments. Just announcements from the sponsor and questions about product availability really belong there. I think this is one case where very strict moderation is a good thing.

Im pretty sure there are a fair number of sponsors who dont have an independent website as well. I know most of the petlands dont and I am not aware of a SWC website either.
