O.K. so the daylight bulb went out on the biocube the other day and I have been torn on bulbs. I currently have a biocube 29 with a 70w hqi retroed into the hood. I also retained both of the power compacts. I was running a ushio 14k hqi and the stock coralife 10,000 and actinic. I am wondering what bulbs to get as replacements for the PC's. All I can seem to find are the coralifes and some nanotuners sells. What are peoples opinions on the best replacement bulb brand?

I also am wondering if I should switch it up a little. I really like the color I am getting out of the 14k ushio and the actinic but I was getting killer growth with the 10,000k. Should I throw a 50/50 in there instead of the daylight to mantain the color I am getting now? Whats your opinion?

are you getting some good growth with that 70 watt retro because i have been thinking about doing that to my biocube

Yes, I am getting great growth. Here is a pic of my birdsnest after 2 months. Looks like I dont need a new bulb afterall. Seems it wasn,t in all the way.
