Ok, So I am leaving some of the decisions about the next ARC meeting up to the ARC members. Jeremy and I were thinking about throwing the ARC BBQ for the July meeting. What I need to know is what date works best for you!!

Your choices are:

Saturday the 12th
Sunday the 13th
Either of the two days, I just want some of Patti's Jello Shooters
None of those two, I much rather it happen in August

Please only vote if you are planning on attending. I will be using the number of votes we get as a rough estimate for how many people we will have coming.

Great, make sure you vote above... I am not sure yet, I will get a head count closer to the date. After that, I will set the menu and look at the budget. I would like this to be on the club for the most part and maybe have the members bring sides, drinks, Jello Shots, pie, etc. More on that once I know the date! ;)

No, we will go with our backup plan for July if that is the case.

Ya Daddy D's is on my list of top 10 in Atlanta. Pretty good stuff.

Every year a few people that I know do this thing called "meat week" every night for 7 days straight they goto the different bbq joints around town, I'll have to find the list and you can check out the places, if you haven't been there that is.

i vote in august! my sis has her wedding on the 12th in sc-- i really want to go to a meeting! :(

if its on a weekend i wont be able to make it until they kick my schedule around to a weekend work schedule. then i wont be able to make the other meetings unless a few people want to try to do a small get together from time to time lol. but if i cant make the next meeting someone have enough fun for me too

I am down for some BBQ. Especially some Beef Brisket style. I am from Texas too Brandon and the so-called BBQ here isn't the same as it is in Texas. Best BBQ joint in Austin, Tx, is Rudy's off Hwy 183. If anyone ever makes it to that neck of the woods, its worth a try!:)

Sorry, but this isn't all vegetarian bbq - we are in the south and Brisket rules (and sometimes beef and pork).

I just hope that there is grilled corn on the cob on site - Yum.

I have mentioned before, my wife is not a fan of my new father/son hobby. Its not that she has any problem with aquariums or reef keeping, its just another pit for us to throw money in.

Anyway, tonight we are enjoying some cool ones and I hit her with the BBQ meeting.

Yeah, I had a fellow reefer over a few weeks back and he made sushi for us. My daughter said something similar to your wife. She asked "you mean, you and your "fish" buddies are going to eat........
