Okay, so it's not as cool as y'all's but I love my tank all the same and I'm slowly adding stuff now that it's stable. here's some pictures and info about it:
55 Gallon, CPR Overflow and CPR Aquafuge MP, 4x65w CF lights: 2x10k and 2xactinic (Orbit system) with 4 led moonlights, mag 9.5 return pump from the aquafuge, 2xKoralia 2's and 1 Koralia 3 which will come in the mail on Monday. 110lbs of live rock, 1 damsel (i know, but for now he leaves the other fish alone and my gf loves him) 1 clown and 2 pajama cardinals. Some corals I know the name of like Kenya Tree and Furry Green Tipped Mushroom and what I think is Candy Cane, plus these little flower things and one big Zoa. I run lr and a dsb in the fuge with chaeto, the fuge has a cf light over it as well. I use Reef Crystals and love it. Uhh, I dunno what else to add. It's my tank and I love it!

Nice pictures. I would recommend that you get either a blue or black background added - it will actually make your tank inhabitants stand out and plus, you won't see them cords.

That is one huge zoa colony you got going.

Keep up the good work and keep a postin'.

You could get a background. They are fairly inexpensive at any pet store. However, if you wait long enough I am sure you will have Coraline that adds a nice pretty purple to EVERYTHING. Just depends on how much patience you have :)

Otherwise, things are looking good. Keep up the great work!

I was thinking of getting a black background, are there ones that are better than others? How do you affix them to the back of the tank? Also, i scrape the sides of the tank every other day with a scraper so i don't think i'll get any coralline on the back :-P (i'm a little OCD)

Nice tank, I would also add a background but.. They do get air bubbles and such and thats why I spray painted mine.. But I dont think that you could do that with an established tank.

Mine has 12"x12" mirror tiles covering the back of my tank(bought it used) adds a ton of depth.. Not advising to do it or nothing.. Im just bored

I like your tank. We have a few things in common. I went slow too, and I am so glad I did. I didn't start keeping SPS until my tank was up for almost 3 years. Also, I got a touch of the ole OCD thing myself!

Keep up the good work.

Whelp, got a black background, wow! what a difference. Not as visible in photo as in person, but wow, I'm much much happier with the look of my tank now!

Makes a big difference doesn't it? Way to go! Mine's black too. I like the look of blue when I see it in other folks' tanks, but black is the color for me too!

Yea it definately makes things pop (color wise) when it is enclosed like that. Glad you are happy with it. Now on to all the other stuff
