Thought this suggestion should be posted here since it actually is a suggestion and since the *bad place* is not regularly moderated and, thus, the suggestion might be overlooked.

Bumping the sticky.

Please be aware that the boundaries Rants and Complaints forum do not supersede the Forum Rules (http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=890).

This is a place where threads that do not break the rules and have become heated can be moved; it is not a free-for-all section.

Please take a moment to review these guidelines (http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=890)and understand that they are not meant to restrict your right to debate topics or enjoyment of the site, but rather to create an environment that is welcoming to all.

Thanks.

Respectfully suggest the introduction to this forum (as quoted below) be changed to avoid the contradiction of the sticky (as quoted above):

This is a free-for-all forum. Say what you want without moderation or worry about it being closed. Please keep in mind that there are limits - stay within the law, no personal threats, etc. Threads that have become "charged" may be moved here so that people can continue bickering.

If you don't like what you see, then don't read it. Most of the moderators won't be. Note that the censorship rules can only be applied forum-wide, so they will still apply here.

Please note that posts made in this forum will not add to your total post count. Threads are set to automatically close after one week of no activity.

----------------------------------------------------------------
I've always taken the introduction that one sees upon entering this particular forum literally, as I'm guessing do most others who bring issues here.

Either it's a free-for-all forum or it's not. Pick one.

Respectfully suggest that Sticky and Intro be worded the same to avoid confusion and the crossing of lines.
