I was wondering if anyone has done the swimming with the whale sharks at the GA Aquarium. Before I sign myself up I was wondering if it is worth the $290 or should I just take that money and take a diving trip in the summer.

They have not opened it up to the public yet. Patti (IHAVEADANE) won a slot to be used this week, you might ask her, but she is snorkeling, not doing scuba.

As someone that does it every week, yes, it is worth it. I think they are booked up until 2009, though.

My wife and I are scheduled to go on July 3 ("Happy valentines day Honey--look what I got you...and I know that you need a dive buddy, so.....") It's one of the first days's that it's available.

I got a swim as a valentines day gift, too! Mine's in June.

I will be one of the Dive Master's at the end of June..So I may be one of your leaders there.......So YES it is worth it!
