Sal, next time you are in the Buford or Flowery Branch area come check out our shark pond, I have a 4ft smooth hound swimming with several eels, a ray and numerous fish. I know you can build your own but Jamie and I would be more than happy to help you with the labor to build the pond. You have a protein skimmer that my fish only system is dying for, the mrc and dolphin that you picked up from Theresa. I would be more than happy purchase it or the freezer if you are willing to psrt with, I cant help it I am like a catfish always looking for a piece of the scraps.

Peace and good luck with all your endeavors

Just curious.... How do you cycle a 300g tank that quickly? Do larger tanks cycle more quickly than the smaller ones?

No need to cycle a new tank if you pull a bunch of active biomedia from an existing setup.

300 gallons is very small for blacktips and cownose rays. May want to research what these species need as far as space. Just because they might live does not make it the right setup. Just an opinion...

The idea is probably that they will be in this tank for only a short time until they are sold, like any other LFS livestock tank.

Gotcha,
These are very fairly hardy specimens once aclimated to captivity, if sombody has half a basement to devote to them it would be a really neat setup. Better than a home theater in your basement in my opinion. Gotta love sharks!

300 is a small tank but its only a holding system,i've done my researce or i would'nt consider caring them?????
