Thanks to our wonderful friends over at the MACNA Planning Committee, The ARC has been given free passes for the Georgia Dive Show (http://www.georgiadiveshow.com/)this weekend here in Atlanta. We have about 15 FREE passes that allow for two people each to attend. (For you math challanged people, that is about 30 people total, so you only need one for you and the person you are bringing.) When those are out, we have 50% off passes. They will be available at tonights meeting for any MEMBER that would like one. If you are not a member yet, you can sign up this evening. If you recently singed up to be a member, but have not received your ARC card yet, please bring your Paypal receipt. With over 60+ exhibitors, this event is shaping up to be a great event for any diver or anyone looking at becoming a SCUBA diver. If you can not make it tonight, keep reading below.

The trade show will be in Duluth at the Gwinnett Center. The hours are Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday from 10:30pm to 4:00pm.

So if you want a pass, please see Margi, Danny or Helene this evening. If you can not make the meeting, you can PM me and I will arrange pick up for you (I live near the Gwinnett Center). Passes are available on a first come, first served basis. I can not hold tickets for you until AFTER the meeting tonight. After that, I will keep a running tally of who wants to come pick them up.


Tickets are subject to the dive show rules and void where prohibited. Not valid for cash value. Please do not drive, read this post and drink at the same time, that would be bad. The ARC is not responsible for lost or stolen passes. The ARC is not responsible if you use all your fish tank money on dive equipment. Please remember to THANK your MACNA committee for passing along tickets to you. It might even be nice for you to sign up to help out with MACNA to return the favor... Hint.... Hint!!!!

well that sucks i guess thats why i need to join how can i do so? i cant do it online and i cant make it to the meet so how do i do that

"There is another way if you do not want to signup using PayPal - print out the membership application and fill out all the information. When completed, send application and check payment to the address shown on the bottom of the form. Then when I receive it, will go in to your user profile to update to show that you are an ARC member and get a card ordered for you. If you join now, your card will come in early June to be ready for pickup at the June meeting - if you are not able to make it to the meeting, your card will be mailed to your home address within two day after the meeting.

If you do decide to come to the meeting, please PM Linda Lee (ARC Secretary) and she will create a badge for you to wear at the meetings. This was a great idea of hers that allows users to find someone at the meetings real easy without having to ask everybody Are You so and so? If you have an avatar, your badge will have it shown (we may forget names, but never the avatars! - I wonder why that is?)

I will also make you a special deal. Since you are not coming to the meeting but you will HAVE TO pick up the passes from me. I can take your information and your payment and get you set up as a member. I will get the application to Helene and the payment to Danny for you.

My worry is that if you mail everything and get it sent in, it might not get to where it needs to be in time for you to pick up your passes and I do not want to see you miss out.

I also have passes good for 2 that I got from the Georgia Aquarium Dive Locker...
