Today, I went to the Marine and Reef fish store's Big May 3 sale and got a couple of lights that I am pretty happy with. The only thing that bothered me was the idea of items that were 50% off being the same price as my LFS Einstein's regular price, even before the ARC discount in some cases. Example, a 20 lbs bag of live sand was $39.95 at the Marine & Reef stores then because of the sale it is 50% off being around 20 bucks right??? At Einstein's if your an ARC member its around 22 bucks all year long... Chris is some of the best help anyone in the hobby could ask for too, I'm thankful that this great fish store is right around corner as well. :up:

I totally agree. I was there for the first time last week and bought a great clean up crew for under $20 this would have been double in most other stores. Plus the fact that Chris and his mom are both very pleasant and helpful. Once he gets relocated he will have more of a selection and certainly be one of my frequent stops.

Went there today and was very pleased with my visit. Great guy and very helpful!
