I'm a bit confused. I just had a store manager inform me that Oceanic Systems no longer made aquarium stands. The OS website however, has many stands listed that specifically go with their aquariums. I was told that it was always better to have the stand made by the same company as the aquarium since the company would then guarantee structural support.

Does anyone have any further information on this?

Oceanic still makes stand. Check with some of our local LFS. They should have a catalog from OS. You should be able to order what you need through them.

I know Oceanic was not making custom tanks and stands while they moved their headquarters, but I thought they have completed the move. I know the warranty on an Oceanic tank is only valid if you have an Oceanic Stand.

It could also be that Oceanic has halted production of their tanks for the time being while they move their factory.
