Just came back from Marine Fish and they have their bulk carbon on sale for $2.99 a pound. Bring your old carbon containers or any container for that matter, and get all the bulk carbon you can carry for $2.99 a pound! I didn't have a container last time and they even sold it to me without a container and just put it in a fish bag for me. Great deal on bulk carbon.
Yup I picked up some last time I was there.

Linda, currently I only use carbon in my 20G and my 10G QT, and I put it in an old piece of pantyhose and use it, along with some batting (floss for straining) and some rubble (for bacteria) in the back of a HOB Aquaclear filter. On the QT I don't use a protein skimmer or a PH, so the filter is my only means of water purification and water movement. (I'm using an Aquaclear filter designed for a 30G aquarium). I don't currently run carbon in my 90, but my plan is to buy 2 phosphate reactors and connect them in-line to run carbon and phosban on the 90 as soon as I get the reactors.
Eric, I think bulk carbon is usually around $6-7 a pound.
