Details are still being finalized, but the plan for the November 14th so far is to have a talk on how to setup a new saltwater fish-only or reef tank, given by our very own Ray O'Connor.

We wanted to step back and give a talk or two that was a bit more basic than "research-grade" of our last few meetings, to help out people getting started or people that have some more basic questions.

The meeting will cover:

- tank selection
- lighting
- pumps and flow
- live rock
- fish selection
- etc

Elections for 2007 officers will also take place!

I'm in....should I join the club at the meeting or online?

It's actually a lot faster (for both us and you) to join online (through this page (http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/arcsignup.php)). Otherwise, someone has to handle the paperwork, and you won't get your card until the Dec meeting. If you join today, you can probably get your card at the upcoming meeting.

Not on the NE side, but I'd love to meet at Steve's office space....

We've been on the west side of town for several meetings in a row, and at Steve's place for two of those three. I'm trying to appeal to everyone by keeping it moving around town. I think we've got something setup in Lawrenceville.

i like NE...not tha I have a say as the new guy but somewhere like norcross would be great...it's kinf of middle ground....oh yeah and i live there but i swear there is no selfishness in taht request....:)

I have a hard time matching names and faces of our ARC members. Should we have a name tag with real name and alias for each member at the meeting?

I'm going on a southern Caribbean cruise from Puerto Rico to St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and Aruba to name a few islands. Lots' of snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking on shore trips.
