View Full Version : Looking for a sump to support my 90g
Linda Lee 03-31-2008, 10:16 AM http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/Groups/356/356865/folders/286101/2288138Moulded-Front.JPG
Needs to fit under this stand. 90g is the standard 48" and the original sump we made for this was a 30g/long, which has now been roped into service for Loren's 125g when the 55g he bought for a sump wouldn't fit. :(
So I'm looking for something 36" - 40". If anyone has a tank they're not using at a reasonable price, please let me know. Something that would allow us to use the baffles we made for the 55g (12" wide) would be great.
I might have a 55g available for trade...
purpleGORILLA 03-31-2008, 10:26 AM That is a nice looking stand. Did Loren build this?
Derek_S 03-31-2008, 11:16 AM Saltwater city has a bunch of various used sumps in their storage area. Josh and I dug through them until I found the perfect one for my 92 gal. I havea 15 gal sump I'm selling, but it's probably too macho for your tank..lol

believe it or not... yep
What skimmer are you putting on there? In sump or out of sump?
Linda Lee 03-31-2008, 2:30 PM Octopus / in sump
don't know the footprint offhand
Ok nm. The ones I have would probably be to short. I am going to replumb my 90 with a smaller sump and take the 30L out but that wont be for a little while. The 30L has worked well for my and I had just enough room on the end for cords and what not.

It's very nice, but I don't have $250 in the budget for a sump. :(
Derek_S 03-31-2008, 5:52 PM I might like to have the tubs blue zoas, too. How many polyps?
What are you talking about?
Derek_S 03-31-2008, 6:09 PM Ummmm.... I was talking aloud. Sorry, obviously wrong thread.

s'ok. I don't mind the bump.
:)
Linda Lee 04-05-2008, 4:06 PM Still looking for a reasonably priced, undrilled tank. Glass or acrylic. Some scratches okay.
Can be up to 36" long, 15" deep (front to back) and 24" tall.
Bleedingthought 04-05-2008, 4:34 PM Linda, don't know if it's too small but I do have a 20L. Brand new.
The 50 sold! ;)

Thiago, I appreciate the offer, but the skimmer is an Octopus and will be in-sump. Footprint for the Octo is 9x12 or so, and I'd like 3 chambers... sump/fuge/return. The 33L was just right or I could go a wee bit bigger.
Congrats on the 50 ... someone got a great beast! Wish it had worked for me.
