View Full Version : custom wedding rings....
glxtrix 10-17-2006, 12:28 PM Well its getting close to that time where I think I'm going to pop the question to my woman, only thing is I know I want to customize a ring for her, does anyone here know a place that does this, or can point me to someone who would know? Any help is much appreciated, thanks.
Lee - glxtrix.
RazMatic 10-17-2006, 12:58 PM Lee, we got our rings from Phil Issenberg (770) 971-5388. That was 5 yrs ago, but he put together a fantastic ring from a yellow pear shaped flanked by 2 oval brilliant white's. I haven't talked to him in a while. His address is (or was) 4101 Roswell Road, Suite 306, Marietta, GA 30062.
Unfortunately, I don't remember the shop name where he works. I seem to recall that it was Edward's Jewelers, but I'm old and my brain isn't as sharp as ti was... what was I talking about anyway.
RazMatic 10-17-2006, 1:01 PM Ah, HA! If I would just look at the rest of my contact sheet I would see that Phil works for Evans Jewelry (www.evansjewelry.com)
glxtrix 10-17-2006, 1:24 PM thanks Raz, I'll check them out.

kappaknight 10-17-2006, 8:10 PM So what exactly is a customized ring? Are you going to inscribe the insides with Elven script writing?

Wei, you are a dork!
Custom = original ring = mucho$$
We had no problem finding a great ring for my wife at a nice, big nation wide store.
Good part is, she has the lifetime warranty, but has to get check-ups on it every 6 months to not void the warranty. Well, we bought it in NC, moved to VA and now live here and she has found a convenient store everywhere we have been.
Just something to think about, when it comes to service and upgrades.
And believe me, no matter how big a ring you get her, there will be upgrades in the future.......................
Good Luck and may God have mercy on your soul!
kappaknight 10-18-2006, 1:50 AM I think I'd be happier with one ring that rules them all. Frankly I'm shocked that none of the local ring sellers have tried to name themselves as the LORD of the rings in the commercials.
Ms. K 10-23-2006, 10:20 PM Scott designed my ring on Jared's online site. That may not be as "special" as you are wanting, but I thought I'd mention it. My ring is absolutely gorgeous if I do say so myself. I was ascending the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad steps in Sanford Stadium during the GA/TN game, when a girl stopped me, grabbed my hand, and just said, "Wow!" It was rather flattering.
glxtrix 10-24-2006, 11:47 AM hehehe, cute story.

fishwhisperer 10-28-2006, 5:29 PM Yeah....have to agree with Todd on Kaminski. The little jewelry I buy I buy there....you just have to get beyond their weird commercials.
