Todd, I think I know what you're talking about. Early this year Dakota9 started trying to coordinate some folks who would run some activities geared towards a certain side of town. I think the goal was just to have more socializing amoung the members. In fact, Dakota approached me to be the coordinator for the Woodstock, Canton, Kennesaw, Acworth and North Marietta area. Unfortunately before the project could get off the ground our dear Dakota9 departed our forum. I am not sure that project is in the works right now. Dakota was our "social events" person and I'm not sure anyone took his place.

This sounds great as we are having more members "pop" up in middle GA. We are rather far away, but I think we are trying to get together (this would be unofficaially) from the club. Just a little R&R for the locals. I think the idea holds merit as I also know some folks from the Augusta area that are like us as well. Hopefully someone picks this up and runs with it, keep us all updated.

Actually, we have several sub-forums, for regions around Atlanta, but they aren't public yet. The intention is that people can find others in the same area, meet for drinks or whatever, or just be neighborly.

I'm not sure what the hold up is on them being live... I haven't had any time in the past couple weeks to really even log in to the site. I'll check with Loren and Brandon and see if there's anything keeping us from making them live.

I think a lot fo stuff may be falling to the "too busy" bug. Remeber the ARC t-shirt slogan contest? Im not complaining. Lord knows how much effort and time it takes to do this stuff.
