I'm looking forward to diving again soon. ScubaDubaDo 10-10-2006, 8:22 AM Hi We're taking a group of 8 to Bonaire this coming Saturday. Unlimited shore diving. If this works out as well as hoped, I'll let you guys know about our next effort. It's working out at about $1100 pp for a group of 4, including air, 2 BR ocean front condo, truck with AC, unlimited shore diving (NITROX or Air) and a pkg of 6 boat dives for $100 extra. Talk to you when we return. Chris Kevin 10-10-2006, 9:11 AM that sounds AWESOME. I have only seen amazing pictures of Bonaire. Have a safe trip and make LOTS of bubbles mojo 10-19-2006, 5:41 AM I looked into taking on setting up a trip to Bonaire to happen before SWU next year- maybe 4-6 weeks in advance. I've been there twice and feel comfortable making recommendations; however, the airfare was outrageous when I last looked, so backed out of putting it together for now. I'm a bit dived out at the moment, but I definitely think we should setup an ARC diving trip somewhere cool. mojo 10-19-2006, 5:41 AM Oh, and cool pics, BTW :) hng 10-19-2006, 11:27 AM Bonaire is awesome with lots of cool shore dives. If you take a camera, be careful about cleaning your O'rings - many of the shore entry points have a very fine sand that can get into the tiniest of places and cause leaks. washowi 10-20-2006, 12:10 AM As yinze know I was there in June..I will be there every June or any other month for the rest of my life....The best diving anywhere. Say when and how much. My trip was about $1250 for 8 days, room, airfare, breakfast everyday, truck and unlimited Nitrox, and 2 boat dives to Klein Bonaire. (that was really 5 days of diving). mojo 10-20-2006, 12:34 AM That's the pretty standard package deal to Bonaire, but where did you get it for that price with airfare included? All the airfare I found was $800 in addition to the 7-800 for the rest of the package... washowi 10-20-2006, 1:08 AM Adventures in Diving...most packages have the airfare included...Try "Port Bonaire Resort" It's new. right next to the airport. I stopped in and partied with them one night. Had a few "Heinies"...Talked with the manager, gave her my package. she beat it with the airfare included. mojo 10-20-2006, 1:23 AM Cool - thanks for the info. I liked Buddy Dive and Lions Dive (Den?), but am open to other places. If I can get something together, I'll try to setup the SWU trip next spring. washowi 10-20-2006, 2:04 AM We will go (myself and daughter) Kevin 10-20-2006, 2:59 PM very cool chris... looking forward to it |
