I have a slightly used MR2 protein skimmer that has the quick release neck and is drilled for a second Beckett. I ran this skimmer on my 180gal for about 6 months and it kept my nitrates at 0ppm. I have considered putting it back on my system, but I have completley reworked the sump area and it just won't fit. I was pushing it with an Ocean Runner 6500 pump that only pulled about 100 watts (low for a Beckett skimmer) and it was very consistent and suprisingly quiet. It comes with an after market waste collector that holds about a gallon of waste. The nice thing about the collector is it will shut the skimmer down when it fills up too far preventing overfills and auto top off mishaps.

The Beckett housing has a crack in it, it has been there since I bought it. It did not affect the skimmers performance at all, but I can repair it with Weld On 16 if the buyer likes. No plumbing has been glued to the gate valve outlet, so it can be configured however needed. Out of all the skimmers I've owned, this is by far the best built, very thick and heavy.

I"m asking $275.00 for the skimmer with the collector, If you want the OR pump also, I'll include it for an additional $70.

I was looking for a 3, but this might work

If it's for your 200 build, then it should work great. If needed, you could add another Beckett, but most likely yoou won;t need to. That's another good thing about them though... as your system grows, you can upgrade it to match. It kept my 180 with a 55gal sump at 0ppm Nitrates for the first 6 months that I had the tank running.
