View Full Version : I have frags for meeting
I have 2 Blastomussa Wellsi all red in color and about the size of softballs. I will sell for $35 each or trade for sps. I also have 2 large Monti cap bright green for free or sps trade. The photo shows the hole piece about the size of a dinner plate, it's now in two. If no one wants large pieces I will break it up in small frags, grows fast with MH lighting. I'm looking for birdnest sps or any thing cool in sps. I also have green with purple tip frogspan about 8-12 heads I will only bring if someone wants it. This is my first meeting and it sounds like it will be fun.

BTW will have more Birdnest frag since it going to get messy.

You aren't kidding on the crane!!!! This piece is 18"X12"X8"...absolutely beautiful Green Monti Cap! Thanks again Bonez...I need to get your address & number so the next time I am in the mountains on the bike I can swing by and see this Moti-Cap producing maching you have!!!!:up:

SShindell 02-13-2008, 11:39 AM Seriously, I have had more luck fragging a large piece of MCap than putting in a large one, unless you can get good flow. They conform to the flow, so sometimes large pieces have a harder time than 5+ smaller ones. It also gives you more surface area for growth.
My calcium reactor is full blast I add Kalkwasser 3 times a week, water changes and still have to add supplement calcium.

The blasto is awesome...every polyp opened up nicely. I still am hunting for the perfect spot in the 160. I have to re-work my aquascaping to get that monster of a Monti Cap to fit.
