hey what the crap? I was first! lol, just messin. Hows the lil one doing Bryan?

She's doing great (knock on wood.) She'll sleep for 3 to 4 hours at a time (so my wife is staying fairly well rested, too) and only seems to cry when she's hungry or she needs to be changed. I just hope it stays like this!

Bryan do you think the best way to attach the frag is with a toothpick and rubberband? I have been looking for pink xenia, but the only time I saw it it was a large rock that would have taken up half my tank. Thanks!

And it's funny, but the pale blue mushrooms originated from some regular blues that I had. I fragged one of the blues, and its offspring have been pale blue ever since. The pale blue could also be due to that fact that they're in more light, though.

No, I think the best way to attach xenia frags is to use thin plastic mesh (like bridal veil)and a rubber band to hold the xenia onto a piece of LR rubble. That way the xenia can still pulse through the mesh holes, and the base is firmly held in contact with the rock without causing trama to the xenia.

I'll bring some extra bridal veil with me.

The tooth pick would be better. They tend to wiggle out from under a rubber band. LOL
