Product: Seachem: ReefStatus Calcium Test Kit
Manufacturer: Seachem
Review Type: Long-term
Overall Rating: 9
Pros:
Easy to use with straight-forward directions
Cons:
Would like to have a smaller syringe tip for smaller titration drops for greater accuracy
In Depth:
I've used this test kit for over two years now, and it's always performed flawlessly. The best thing about this kit is that it includes a bottle of calcium reference solution. By using the reference solution instead of aquarium water you can check the accuracy of your test kit. I just checked the accuracy of my kit, and recorded a calcium level of 430 mg/L using the 438 mg/L reference solution- not too bad!
Specs:
titration test kit encased in a sturdy plastic case (not a cardboard box- bonus!)
