It used to puff-up like crazy. For the last 4 days It’s been shriveled. Everything else is looking good. All parms check out and I did a water 10% change yesterday.

Most likely something is picking at it... what fish are in the tank with it? I had the same problem with all 3 of mine. I swapped them from tank to tank and now they're in my daughters 29 NanoCube with only a female clown and her RBTA and they are huge.

I've got a yellow tang, black clown, coral beauty, PJ cardinal, lawnmower blenny and an engineer goby. Non of the fish are new. They all been living with the brain for at least 2-3 month.

Brains in many systems start dieing out after a few months. Wellsophylias are notorious for this actually.

Keep a close eye on the tank for an extended period of time... my guess would be your Coral Beauty is the culprit, but even my hippo was picking at mine. How often do you feed the fish?.. How long have you had the brain?

Do you feed it? What's your cal level?

Mine does the same thing from time to time. Not for sure why but I haven't noticed any water parameters that are creating these "deflations"!

I had him for about 3 month now. I feed my fish daily. I don'd feed him directly but "leftovers" from the fishes.
