are there such things as a bulkhead cap, lets say I have a hole in one of my tanks that I dont want to use, is there some kind of cap that is sold that will just plug that hole? It's a hole drilled to fit a 1" bulkhead. Thanks.

I've not seen anything that is a dedicated instead-of-a-bulkhead solution. Assuming you have the bulkhead on the hole, you can buy a pvc end cap to screw on or a pvc plug.

One of those came with my oceanic sump. Looks like like a bulk head, but closed. I've never seen one anywhere else though. I'll let you know if I find one.

You could just get a 1" plug and screw it into a normal bulkhead. They do come in black.

Check home depot or lowes. They carry them.
