I looked around a little for a major mod for allowing users to have their own photo album, and found this, which seems to be pretty popular:

Have you done any research into other products? I know you were looking at something, but wasn't sure if that was just for club-related stuff, or for each user...

I was looking at PhotoPlog lite (although the pay version probably isn't expensive). Yes, it was geared more toward club activites and some albums on identification (per Lindas suggestions). It wasn't for personal content.

My thought was to have these albums open so anyone could post content to the identification threads but it would be moderated by a coordinator.

There's nothing though to stop us from extending the topics to personal topics (e.g. My Tank, Non-Reef, etc). Each picture gets tagged by who uploaded them and you can see all of the pictures associated with the user.
