I use an ancient (>8 yrs old) CPR Backpack skimmer. When I went to empty the collection cup recently, I accidentaly dropped it and the conical part broke into 6+ pieces and couldn't be glued together very well.
When I called CPR to get a replacement, they named several Georgia retailers including AquaBuys. I ordered the part from Sammy and received it, BUT it was for the "new" version and was too wide and would not fit into the skimmer. :confused2: When I told Sammy this, he called CPR and they shipped me an "old" version which fit perfectly. BTW, the old one was free and I was told that I could keep the newer version! Now that's great service! :)
SOOO does anyone need a new collection cup for a CPR skimmer? If so, please email me and it's yours. No PMs please.
Just passing on the goodwill! :D
Thanks Sammy!
Sammy has always taken care of me on everything. I cant say enough good stuff about Aqua Buys.

Ya, I got to second (or third, I lost count) Sammy's level of customer service. He has ALWAYS been friendly no matter what you are buying and gives good, honest advice. Up till today, I have never had a warranty problem with a product. I called Sammy to see if he could help and he came through with flying colors, going above and beyond the call of duty. All I wanted was a telephone number of someone at the company to contact and Sammy took the issue under his wing and solved it all for me. You just do not find customer service like that anywhere any more! Thanks Sammy!!!

He runs a tight ship and is a great guy to deal with. If I need drygoods I always check aquabuys first. He earned my business by staying open a lil longer for me as I was fighting traffic to get there. 2 hours from Roswell to Lawrenceville is rough!

Just another story of why this guy is getting all of my business... The ceramic shaft in my skimmer motor broke. They aren't available anywhere online and coralvue isn't shipping them for some reason. So either I buy a new pump or fabricate one out of carbon fiber. Sammy solves my problem though by pulling the ceramic shaft out of one his personal pumps for me. How awesome is that? I'm going to be pushing aquabuys to everyone now. Soon I'll be earning commission checks...

Wow. Thank you all for the great reviews. Seeing each of you happy with your aquariums (and Aqua Buys service) makes it all worth it for me. :)
It's much easier for me to order something from my office and wait for it to show up at my door (which I can also do with aqua buys..). But, I make the long drive and go to Sammy's to get what I need and chat a bit.
Keep up the good work buddy!

Another vote for GREAT CS and I was just hanging out with Sam this past Fri. and sucking up all the education he has to offer!!! I went in for a $5 test kit and left with the kit and PRICELESS knowledge..
Thank You Sam...
