Just curious... but what do you all do for jobs?

When I'm not doing that, I write code for a medical imaging company.

I do evaluation research in the field of public health--mostly federal (i.e., CDC and other Health and Human Services orgs). Mostly it's a behind the desk job but I get out every now and then to conduct focus groups for public health campaigns and the like.

i do sales and delivery for budweiser. LONG days.

Nothing, well that's what my employees tells me.

I run an engineering department for Yerkes National Research Center/Emory University

I am a 40 year old full time student. I am currently working on my BS in Special Education.

I am a geek (Information Systems Manager) for some architects who do construction program management for schools like Spelman College and Dillard University.

I work at an animal institution in Northern Georgia called Kangaroo Conservation Center. And yes, we do have kangaroos.

I'm a Sales Admin for one of the uniform companies.

I'm also a full time reef tank watcher ;)

I work as an internet marketer on both the optimization side as well as the paid search side. Basically if you have a website looking for more traffic, I can probably help you get more of it. I also run a website called CallforSitters.com that connects parents with babysitters.

I am a field service tech for yancey bros.

I am a full time musician who also runs a Booking Agency. I mostly perform solo acoustic, though I have a touring Jam-band on hiatus at the moment and am putting together a new acoustic based project and starting work on my third album. I also run an electric full band weekly jam, and another acoustic weekly open-mic.

And I spend a LOT of time starting at glass boxes with little critters floating around in them....

I'm a Implementation and systems analyst for one to the nations largest multifamily management\development\contruction firms. Our biggest project to date was all of the multifamily housing in Atlantic Station.

Scenario: A few years back I was playing my 2nd quarter on a quarter slot machine, only playing 1 quarter at a time. I won $900. If I would have played 3 quarters, would I still have won with the bigger jackpot of course?? I've always wondered that.

That's kinda what I thought. Everyone always says "why didn't u play max?" I will usually go back and forth. Play low a few times and if I don't win, play max. I gave up on slots though, unless I'm in Vegas. I just stick to the tables.

Well this was before I had the tank. I did get a couch, washer, and dryer with it, all of which I still use.

bigger jackpot- ouch! I was only on my 2nd quarter so wouldnt have lost much more.

Construction Project Manger for Bed Bath & Beyond. I handle the Mid Atlantic Region and Southern Region. So if you shop there, I probably built it. Basically I do nothing but watch others build it, but tell them when they do something wrong or how to do it better or quicker. And play a lot of golf!

Architecture renovation at Crawford Long Hospital, midtown Atlanta. Besides reef tanks, I model railroad trains and fashion stained glass lamps. Currently have 350 hours invested in Oblivion, the game. Working really gets in the way sometimes.

I am a Chemical Lab Technician (extractions) for an environmental testing company. My work involve running various chemical reactions to extract contaminants from soil and water samples for analysis.

I have been thinking about writing a post on acrylic fabrication and what the diy-ers should know before starting any acrylic work.

Most people will say especialy in the GA region that Verizon is alot better across the board. We also have the best data network anywhere with multiple large area's coming on line this month thru end of year. No ones perfect but Verizon is striving to be thou compaired to others.

I was told in orientation that tours were not allowed, but I see emoployees giving tours from time to time so maybe its just suggested......;)

I have been a Network Arhcitect for an online financial services organization for the past 7.5 years on a team of 11. Four months ago I became the manager of that team. I have 2 positions available in the Alpharetta Data Center location and 1 in our Arlington facility. They are senior positions and the technical interview can be tough.
