Great! I'm in need of one. Sorry jmaneyapanda. Anyone know of a good place to get a regulator and co2 tank?
Thanks,
Andy
Awesome, I have been waiting for a good deal on calcium reactors from Andy.

burdundi, andy at MRC sells packages with everything you'll need, including regulators and tank. You'll just need to get it filled at a local welding supply store.

Thanks jmaneyapanda. I saw those, but just wondering if anyone had input on cheaper solutions or what not. I'll probably end up getting one of the packages.
Do you need to get the PH controller for it? Or is it just extra piece of mind?
Thanks,
Andy
The pH controller is a good gadget for peace of mind, but isn't necessary if you're willing to put a little more time into the tuning. I've run my for years without one. I wouldn't recommend one without a pH probe, though...

What is the spray bar upgrade?
The spray bar is a pvc pipe that goes through the center of the media, so that the water flows from the center and out of the CaCO3, instead of top to bottom. It's a more efficient design, since the lower pH water interacts with "fresh" CaCO3, instead of saturating the water at the top of the column and then flowing it down over the rest of the media.
