Cameron 12-19-2007, 12:28 PM Looks good. Can't wait to see the new 135g finished off. Zapped82 12-19-2007, 12:36 PM I can't wait to get it up and running, it's been a bunch of setbacks so far. I have to take apart the pump tonight to clean it out and hope to have some real water movement finally. I will definitely post more pics now that I put all kinds of live rock and sand in there thanks to Sal. :D Victor626nj 12-19-2007, 7:57 PM hey those lights will look good on your tank lol but seriously cameron lights are nice he has mh on the ends and t5s in the middle same tank you got there and it looks great...very nice looking tank Victor626nj 12-19-2007, 8:02 PM here is a link with his light design http://www.cameroncole.com/mypics/Aquarium/2007-02_New_Lighting/HPIM3177.JPG Zapped82 12-23-2007, 2:19 AM Well, after many hours or messing around I finally got rid of the air leak that was creating the micro-bubbles. Thanks to Victor I now have lights too. I just re-did the aquascaping and it finally looks acceptable to me(at least for now). The water is still a little cloudy from rearranging everything. I can't wait to get a couple fish and some coral in there! Let me know what you think. Victor626nj 12-23-2007, 7:10 PM very nice zac those bulbs have another 4 good minths in them try the pheonix 14 on there next they have a nicer blue to them then the ushio 20k and i think the par is higher look reall good man....you gonna do a canonpy Victor626nj 12-23-2007, 7:16 PM the only pace i see a dead spot is right in the middle very good coverage with the reflectors here i high lighted it for you Zapped82 01-18-2008, 10:51 PM Here's some pictures from today of the 29g and 135g. The clam and 'nem are in the 29g. The rest are in the 135g. Gotta love the beautiful open brain from Tim @ Keen Reef. Thanks Tim! Let me know what you think. blind1993 01-19-2008, 12:37 PM what are the dimensions for the 135g? how high up are the lights from the tank? Zapped82 01-19-2008, 2:14 PM what are the dimensions for the 135g? how high up are the lights from the tank? The 135g is 6' x 18" x 24" and the lights are 7" from the water to the bottom of the reflector. I am planning on either adding another MH or a few T5's in the middle. The way it's setup right now I can fit a 24" T5 fixture between the MH's so I might do that. I'm not doing anything with it right now but once I start getting more into the tank I'll need some additional light. Zapped82 03-25-2008, 12:26 AM Here's some new pictures of my 135 that has a lot of new stuff thanks to Tim @ Keen Reef... I love the magnificent foxface!:yay: tim8111 03-31-2008, 11:00 PM Here's some new pictures of my 135 that has a lot of new stuff thanks to Tim @ Keen Reef... I love the magnificent foxface!:yay: Yea, the Magnificent Foxfaces are great fish. If I didn't like my plain old foxface so much I would get a mag for the new display. :) Zapped82 08-05-2008, 9:44 AM Some updated pictures cheating a little with the actinic's... Once I get everything cleaned up a little more I'll post a new FTS. Zapped82 09-17-2008, 10:31 PM Well attached is a picture from about 3 weeks ago and then a picture of the new Squamosa and a Red Planet from Tim at Keen Reef. I also picked up a Goldrim Tang as well, I love that store! The Red Planet has been in the tank for less than 30 minutes and already looks like that. Too bad I don't have a macro lens yet, hopefully I'll get one soon! Zapped82 12-18-2008, 9:05 PM 3 months of growth on the Red Planet. It looks a little bleached in the picture but that's just because it's the underside which is lighter in color. The top that gets all the light is vivid green and red. This thing is going to look great as it grows more. |
