I normally have no problem with any for sale post on our boards, even when you're charging full retail prices from a potentially unauthorized reseller that could void the warranty.

*However*, if you want to try to GOUGE someone here for $410 for a Wii console this close to Christmas because nobody can find them anywhere, take it to eBay and Craigslist.

It may or may not be against forum rules, but as a member of the ARC, I officially request this For Sale thread be locked at the very least or preferably deleted.

I appreciate anyone's concern on pricing but please be aware that my Wii BUNDLE set contains MANY extras (not just the console) and I'm including my receipt where I paid about $525 for this bundle at FRYS Electronics about 1 week ago. Yes, they are mostly sold out now and demand is higher than supply this time of year. I don't believe this price is unreasonable based on these circumstances. If you look on eBay and Craigslist you'll see I'm certainly NOT selling this setup higher than many others.

Fair enough. $240 of games. $249 console. What's the extra $160 get?

And you miss the point. If you want to buy things at retail establishments to try and sell them for more than retail on this board, I think it's wholy inappropriate. This is not intended to be a for-proffit board that takes advantage of the mad Christmas rush.

This is a friendly club. If you want to screw over a desperate parent, I don't think it belongs here.

No, I don't care what everyone else is doing.

If you don't like the price, then don't buy it. If a person can't be bothered to find out what is a reasonable price before decided to buy something, then that's his or her own choice. If a person wants something badly enough that he or she is willing to overpay for it, then that's his or her choice, too. Let people make their own decisions.
