LorenK 12-16-2007, 9:37 PM Any pics with the current hood? Does the color match?
James S. 12-16-2007, 11:29 PM The current hood is the original factory hood so it does match. My Wife made me take the cowl induction hood after two days of it being on there. She could not see over it to drive.I can take some pictures with the factory hood if you would like, you can kind of see it in the first pic.
LorenK 12-16-2007, 11:52 PM I'm just fantasizing. I told my wife she could have my 540 and she just laughed at me...I assume that was a no.
James S. 12-16-2007, 11:56 PM LOL no problem. I really really wish I didnt have to sell this car.It drives so nice and sounds so **** good.
shaned 12-17-2007, 12:21 AM Can you supply more details and VIN so I can check on Kelly BB value if possible?

I guess the Baby would probably like the wind in his hair :) But my Wife would not. Sorry
You could alway just buy the Mustang and park it beside your Sebring. I think they would get along.
Linda Lee 12-19-2007, 6:11 PM You could alway just buy the Mustang and park it beside your Sebring. I think they would get along.
Well, Sebring is more of a peaceful species. That bad boy of yours is definitely a predator.
Good luck with the sale! Beautiful car.
James S. 12-19-2007, 6:14 PM Thanks Linda.
merc123 12-24-2007, 3:13 PM Just a heads up, since I had this problem with my 2003 GT the extended warranty probably won't be honored because of the modifications so I would suggest cashing it in instead.
Ford denied my warranty claim because I had Saleen wheels and non-factory tire sizes...

James S. 01-04-2008, 10:36 PM Looking at getting an Acura TSX for the Wifey. Cameron buy our Mustang you know you want it :)
Zanski 01-04-2008, 10:38 PM Yeah that Mustang is hot. Killer car man sounds awesome!!
Cameron 01-07-2008, 12:10 PM Looking at getting an Acura TSX for the Wifey. Cameron buy our Mustang you know you want it :)I can't own a Ford... well if it was a convertible I could make an exception. The next car very likely may be a Ford Mustang Convertible, but that is for my woman. I am pretty happy with my Ridgeline right now and for speed I have a motorcycle.
Juston51 01-15-2008, 7:08 PM Looking at getting an Acura TSX for the Wifey. Cameron buy our Mustang you know you want it :)
Yeah get an Acura! What about the RL instead? Voice activated everything! I'm lazy, I dont even want to reach and turn on the radio! ha ha! Good luck James.

Skriz 03-01-2008, 11:56 AM Congrats James! That's awesome!
shaned 03-01-2008, 1:51 PM Congratulations on the baby .. so cute!
I came to see your car but after researching online I still believe it's too high. MANY others for sale lower than your asking price. If you're willing to come down to comparison values I believe it will sell quickly. My offer still stands on the eBay motors listing .. HUGE exposure here for a quick sale if the price is right.
Thanks,
Shane

James S. 03-01-2008, 3:14 PM What do you consider comparison values? Im basing my price off of Kelley Blue book values not what others are selling for. Ive seen plenty of stock cars sale for less, but none that have $3500 wheels,etc........
I may strip the car down and trade it in, just figured I would try here one more time for the hell of it.I dont really have the time to mess with the car any more.Just want it gone.
shaned 03-01-2008, 7:43 PM I was basing my comparison statement on websites like autotrader, craigslist, ebay and others. You have a great car and it looks very nice with lots of options .. but don't expect to get your money back on these upgrades when you sell. If you strip the car down and try to get a trade it you'll REALLY take a beating at a dealership.
Remember .. cars are POOR investments overall. They almost always go down in value no matter how many 'bells and whistles' you add to them. IF this were a convertible Mustang it would be in more demand but it's simply a nice car .. I could not find anything extraordinary that would drive the price up to your asking level.
I sincerely hope you get your asking price but realistically I feel you are at least 3k-5K too high based on what others are selling a similar model for online.
Thanks,
Shane
James S. 03-01-2008, 8:19 PM Thats fine. If thats the case then I will just keep the car. Its not big deal. Thanks for your time.
blfuller123 03-01-2008, 8:25 PM Congrats James!!
James S. 03-01-2008, 9:08 PM Thanks Brett.
crab0000 03-03-2008, 2:12 PM Congrats! My wife and I had to get rid of our '97 Z28 when we had our daughter, so I know what you're going through. Enjoy your son while you can. It seems like my daughter was born yesterday, but she turns six in a few days.
Zanski 03-03-2008, 3:04 PM Keep in mind its not "dealers" beating you. Cars are worth what they are worth. Its not magic...
There is a little black book which has every car truck and suv in it with what there worth. KBB and ALL other sources are guides thats it...
Zanski 03-03-2008, 3:04 PM And Congrats on the little one!!
