This looks rather bizarre, I don't think I've ever seen it before at the local suppliers... anyone else seen this before?

Looks like a favia I have. Yes, I have seen them in stores (LPS)

Keep in mind that they may have taken the pictures under very blue (20K) lights, so it may not look the same in your tank...

That exact picture seems to ALWAYS be for sale on ebay.
I'm not against buying livestock online but personally, I would stay away from eBay.

Unless it is from Marineflora (ARC SPonsor). They sell on Ebay and have some beautiful zoas.

Some of the prices on ebay seems high. I expected to seem a better bargin than what's offered.

Its an echinophyllia. I have a couple in my tanks and they do look awesome. They're similar to favia, but I think they're prettier. The photo on ebay was definately taken under actinics. I do have one that only colors up under 10k though. With actinics it looks brown, under 10k its neon green, go figure.
